A1: We find that if one's head measurement is falling in between sizes, you should go with the smaller size.

Q2: Are the sizes of the Novelty Items equal to the D.O.T. Helmets?
A2: The sizes should be similar, but please keep in mind that everyone's head is shaped differently.

A3: All Of Our D.O.T. Helmets And Novelty Items come with a Quick Release Lock With One Finger Release Lever For Easy Detachment.

Q4: Are the Helmets made of fiberglass or plastic?
A4: Most of the D.O.T. Helmets and Novelty Items are made of polycarbonate plastic with the exception of a few models and sizes. The Carbon Fiber models are made of Carbon Fiber which is a composite material. The Chrome is made of a polycarbonate plastic shell triple coated with metal.

A5: Tubular nylon, heat shrunk for strength.

Q6: Do the visors come with the helmets?
A6: Visors come with the D.O.T. helmets shown with a visor but all visors for novelty items are sold separately.

Q7: What is the thickness of the liner on the D.O.T. liner?
A7: The thickness of the D.O.T. liner runs from 1/2" to 1 1/8".

Q8: Will a headset fit inside the modular helmet?
A8: Most headsets will fit inside our modular helmets.

A10: The Big German Has a Larger Shell Size and Flares out More Than the German. The Big German Also Runs a Size Larger Than the German; Great Fit and Look for the Big and Tall!! The Big German is a replica of a World War II helmet.
